One credit system across all models and media types.

How credits work

Every AI generation on Gizmoji is powered by credits. When you submit a job, the required credits are pre-held from your balance. If the job succeeds, the hold is released and any excess is returned. If it fails, the full amount is refunded. You never pay for failed generations.

The credit cost for each generation depends on the model, output type, and parameters (resolution, duration, etc.). The exact cost is always displayed on the model card and in the generation form before you confirm.

Credit hold system

Gizmoji uses a pre-authorization model to ensure credits are available before generation begins:

  1. Hold — When you click Generate, the estimated credit cost is held from your balance. Your available balance decreases immediately.
  2. Processing — The job runs. Your held credits are reserved and cannot be used for other jobs.
  3. Release — On success, the actual cost is deducted. If the actual cost is less than the estimate, the difference is returned to your balance.
  4. Refund — On failure, the entire hold is refunded to your balance automatically.

This system means you always know the maximum cost upfront, and you're never charged more than necessary.

Model pricing tiers

Models are organized into three pricing tiers based on their underlying cost:

  • Budget — Fast, affordable models for drafts and iteration. Lowest credit cost per generation.
  • Value — Balanced quality and cost for most production work.
  • Premium — Highest quality models for final output and hero assets. Higher credit cost.

Credit costs are displayed on every model card before you generate. A cost-effective workflow is to draft with budget models, refine your prompt, then switch to a premium model for the final generation.

Subscription plans

Gizmoji offers five subscription tiers, each with a monthly credit allocation that resets every billing cycle:

  • Free — 50 credits/month. All creation tools, production workflow, and AI assistant. No credit card required.
  • Starter — All models included, email support, and higher generation limits.
  • Creator — Team collaboration, more credits, and advanced features.
  • Pro — Full team features with shared credits, priority support, and high concurrency.
  • Studio — Maximum credits, dedicated support, and full production workflow.

Plans are available in monthly and annual billing periods. Annual plans offer a discount compared to monthly pricing. Visit the Pricing page for current rates and credit amounts.

Credit packs

Need more credits before your next renewal? Credit packs are one-time purchases that add credits to your current billing cycle:

  • Buy credit packs from the billing page in your account settings.
  • Pack credits are added to your balance immediately.
  • Credits from packs apply to your current billing cycle only — on your next renewal, your balance resets to your plan's monthly allocation.
  • You can purchase multiple packs in the same billing cycle.

Credit packs are ideal for bursts of activity — a large project, a deadline, or when you've used your monthly allocation and need more before renewal.

Upgrades and downgrades

You can change your plan at any time from your account settings:

  • Upgrading — Takes effect immediately. Your credit balance is replaced with the new plan's monthly allocation.
  • Downgrading — Deferred to the end of your current billing cycle. You keep your current credits and benefits until then.
  • Cancelling — Your plan benefits remain active until the end of the current period. After that, you revert to the Free plan with 50 credits per month.

Team credits

On Creator plans and above, you can invite team members to collaborate. Team members share the owner's credit balance — there's no separate team credit pool.

  • The team owner's credits are used for all member generations.
  • Per-member monthly limits can be set to control individual usage and prevent any single member from exhausting the shared balance.
  • Member usage counters reset each billing cycle along with the owner's credits.
  • If the owner downgrades below Creator, teams are suspended (data is preserved and restored on upgrade).

Billing currency

Gizmoji supports two currencies:

  • INR (Indian Rupee) — Default for users in India.
  • USD (US Dollar) — Default for users outside India.

Your currency is automatically detected based on your location when you sign up. You can change it from your account settings before making your first purchase. All plan prices and credit pack prices are shown in your selected currency.

Frequently asked questions

How do credits work?

Credits are deducted when you generate content. Each model has a different credit cost based on complexity. Credits are pre-held when you submit a job and refunded if the job fails.

What happens if a generation fails?

If a generation fails, your credits are automatically refunded to your balance. You only pay for successful generations.

What are the available plans?

Gizmoji offers Free, Starter, Creator, Pro, and Studio plans. Each includes a monthly credit allocation, and higher plans unlock features like team collaboration and priority support. Visit the Pricing page for current rates.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with new credits replacing your balance. Downgrades are deferred to the end of your billing cycle so you keep your current benefits until then.

How do team credits work?

Team members share the owner's credit balance. The owner can set per-member monthly limits to control usage. Teams are available on Creator plans and above.

Do unused credits carry over?

Subscription credits reset each billing cycle — unused credits do not carry over. Credit pack credits also apply to the current billing cycle and reset on renewal.

Can I get a refund?

Failed generations are automatically refunded. For purchased credits, refunds are available where required by consumer protection law or in the case of confirmed billing errors. Contact support@gizmoji.com for assistance.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your credits and plan benefits remain available until the end of your current billing period. After that, you revert to the Free plan with 50 credits per month.

What currencies are supported?

Gizmoji supports INR (Indian Rupee) and USD (US Dollar). Your currency is detected automatically based on your location, or you can set it manually in your account settings.
