Profile, security, teams, billing, and preferences.

Profile settings

Update your display name, email address, and avatar from the Settings page. Your profile is visible to team members on shared projects.

  • Display name — Shown in your workspace, on shared projects, and in team activity.
  • Email — Used for login, notifications, and billing receipts. Changing your email requires verification.
  • Billing name — The name that appears on invoices and payment receipts. Can be different from your display name.
  • Avatar — A profile image displayed in the sidebar, team views, and project activity.

Security

Keep your account secure with these settings:

  • Password — Change your password from the Security tab. We recommend using a strong, unique password that you don't reuse across other services.
  • Social login — If you signed up with Google or GitHub, your authentication is managed by that provider. You can link or unlink social accounts from the Security tab.
  • Active sessions — Review your active sessions and sign out from devices you no longer use.

Team management

On Creator plans and above, invite collaborators to share your credits and projects. Team members generate content using the team owner's credit balance — there's no separate team credit pool.

Inviting members

From the Team settings page, enter a member's email address and send an invite. They'll receive an email with a link to join your workspace. Pending invites can be revoked before they're accepted.

Setting credit limits

For each team member, you can set a monthly credit limit to control how much they can generate. This prevents any single member from exhausting the shared balance. Limits reset each billing cycle along with the owner's credits.

Member roles

  • Owner — Full control over the team, billing, and all settings. The credit balance belongs to the owner.
  • Member — Can generate content, view projects, and manage their own assets within the team workspace.

Plan requirements

Teams require a Creator plan or above. If the owner downgrades below Creator, teams are suspended — all data is preserved, and upgrading again restores access immediately. Team members cannot generate content while the team is suspended.

Workspace switching

Switch between your personal workspace and team workspaces using the workspace switcher in the sidebar. Each workspace is independent:

  • Personal workspace — Your own projects, assets, and credit balance.
  • Team workspace — Shared projects and assets, using the team owner's credit balance. You see the shared balance and your personal usage against your monthly limit.

Switching workspaces is instant — click the workspace name in the sidebar to see your available workspaces and switch between them.

Billing management

Manage your subscription and payments from the billing page in your account settings:

  • Current plan — View your active plan, credit balance, and next renewal date.
  • Upgrade or downgrade — Switch to a different plan. Upgrades are immediate; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Credit packs — Purchase additional credits for your current billing cycle.
  • Cancel subscription — Cancel your plan. Benefits remain until the end of the current period, then you revert to the Free plan.
  • Billing currency — Set your preferred currency (INR or USD) for all pricing and invoices.

Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant processor. Gizmoji does not store your card details. See the Credits & Billing guide for full details on plans, credit packs, and the credit hold system.

Notifications

Gizmoji sends service-critical notifications to keep you informed:

  • Generation status — Real-time updates in the app as your jobs complete or fail.
  • Billing alerts — Email notifications for subscription renewals, payment confirmations, and failed payments.
  • Team activity — Notifications when team members join, leave, or reach their credit limits.
  • Account security — Alerts for password changes, new login locations, and session activity.

Deleting your account

You can request account deletion by contacting support@gizmoji.com. Upon deletion, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy:

  • Remaining credits are forfeited and cannot be refunded.
  • Generated assets are available for download for 30 days before permanent deletion.
  • Account data is retained for 30 days to facilitate recovery if you change your mind.
  • Payment records are retained for 7 years per financial reporting requirements.
  • If you own a team, team members lose access immediately upon deletion.

Frequently asked questions

How do teams work?

You invite members to your workspace. They generate content using your credits. You can set per-member monthly limits. Teams are available on Creator plans and above.

What happens if I downgrade and have a team?

If you downgrade below the Creator plan, your teams are suspended. All data is preserved. Upgrading again restores access immediately.

Can team members see my credit balance?

Team members can see the shared credit balance in their workspace, but they don't have access to your billing details or payment information.

How do I change my billing currency?

You can update your billing currency (INR or USD) from the billing page in your account settings. This should be done before your first purchase.

Can I have multiple team workspaces?

Currently, each account can own one team. However, you can be a member of multiple teams owned by other users, and switch between them using the workspace switcher.

How do I delete my account?

Contact support@gizmoji.com to request account deletion. Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. Remaining credits are forfeited, and stored assets are available for download for 30 days before permanent deletion.
